On 14th June 2021 we finally managed to have our club tournament, which had been postponed several times due to Covid. We had to use a new format and use two groups. The new system worked very well and produced tightly contested trophies in both groups. Our shuttle provider sponsored us so we were able to print use ALL participants with badminton related prizes. Fun was had by all, even with a few last minute partner changes due to absentees. It was nice to see our newest member Inti, who joined the club just 2 days before the event, go home with a second place trophy and another new member Andy B went home with a first place trophy. Well done to everyone and we look forward to another one in the Autumn/Winter if Covid allows us to do one.
